Service Description

Dermaplaning is a skin treatment that uses a specialized blade — similar to a surgical scalpel called a dermatome — to remove dead skin and hairs. The procedure aims to give facial skin a smooth, youthful, and radiant appearance. As well as smoothing skin and removing “peach fuzz,” proponents claim that dermaplaning can help with dry skin buildup, sun-damaged skin, and small wrinkles. This service also comes with a hydrating enzyme treatment and hydrojelly masque. PLEASE NOTE: Each Specialty Facial focuses on more targeted concerns, and will be recommended only after first receiving a Classic Facial service as a New Guest. Every Specialty facial includes the following: double cleansing, exfoliation, extractions, and masking with a complementary foot, shoulder/neck, & arm/hand massage. Enhancements can also be added for even more customization! Preparations for your upcoming Facial Service: - Do NOT use any active acids or Retinol, Vitamin A products 3-5 pre & post treatment - Do NOT get facial waxing 3-4 pre & post treatment - Botox is okay 3 days pre & post service - Collagen Fillers must be administered 2 weeks prior or as instructed by a physician before - Refrain from laser hair removal on treated area 2 weeks pre & post treatment - If you are more than 20 weeks pregnant, one must get consent from your doctor stating it is okay to lay on your back for 50-80 minutes for your service - Having an active cold sore or open lesion on the skin is not recommended for a facial and may be turned away - MEN: Facial hair is okay. Do NOT shave the day of or the day before your facial.
